My first blog post!!!

Makeup is so interesting! I mean when you really think about it there are so many different products and brands of cosmetics in all different price ranges that you can put on your face. Whether it's putting on makeup for school, for work or your turning into a completely different person because your filming a zombie movie. I just find it so intriguing how one product can transform you — like foundation to cover up acne. Am I right ladies?!? It all started with someone trying to figure out what ingredients go well together. I mean I never liked science and I don't understand it, but if I could go into a lab and someone could explain to me the whole process I would totally do that! 

I got into makeup when I first started to watch YouTube videos, when I was 13 years old. Ever since then I have called makeup my way of art. It is so interesting how so many people use it to express themselves and as tool used to accentuate their natural beauty. 

I am a firm believer in if you want to wear makeup then wear makeup, but also you shouldn't feel forced to wear it if you don't want to — you do you girl! The creator of the universe created all of us so uniquely different and there's so much beauty in that, when you think about it. God created you just the way He wanted you to be and there no single person that has the same DNA as you. God wanted you to have your hair type, your skin color, your height, your body type, your skin etc. — you get my point :) So when we are thinking about hating on ourselves or thinking negatively towards ourselves it's kinda like a disgrace to our God, because your saying you don't like the way He created you. He thought you were worthy enough to be created because there is not one single person on this entire planet that could possible be you — so you do you girl! Rock what the Lord gave you! One of my biggest tips regrading this topic is don't go on social media when you first wake up in the morning, go to the word first and read what the creator says about you! Also unfollow any accounts that you find yourself getting discouraged or comparing yourself to much to. I know it took me a while to not go on my phone the minute I woke up in the morning, but trust me the minute your start your day with truth it will change your attitude and mind set for the whole day.

So go have fun rocking your awesome makeup look or your carefree no makeup look. Whatever it maybe just remember that your worth is not found in this world, or anyone or makeup for that matter of fact. You're a daughter of the one true king and your worth is found in no one but Christ. Your so worthy and loved girl!
